In 2022, we had a vision for a revolutionary way to shotgun a beer. The existing options were neither efficient nor enjoyable, leading us to take matters into our own hands. This innovative idea blossomed into The Krak’in, and the brand that emerged, Wild Man Drinking Company, marked our inaugural product under Wild Man Lab. This endeavor serves as a testament to the effectiveness of our development process.

To bring this concept to life, we engaged in rapid prototyping, meticulously refining dozens of iterations to perfect the feel, function, and funneling of the tool. Our approach to design-for-manufacturing ensured that the geometry and materials were optimized for injection molding, paving the way for scalable production.

We crafted a compelling brand identity and packaging that resonated with our target audience, establishing a party-first ethos. Our viral-first strategy ensured that the product was visually appealing on camera and intuitively understandable, eliminating the need for lengthy explanations.

The launch was executed across multiple channels, including TikTok Shop, Shopify, and Amazon, maximizing our reach. Additionally, we designed custom countertop displays tailored for convenience stores and bars, enhancing retail visibility.

The result was a patented shotgun tool marketed under Wild Man Drinking Company, which quickly became TikTok Shop’s top-selling product for Summer 2023. With over 1 billion organic views and 1 million followers across platforms, we sold more than 500,000 units and expanded into wholesale and customizable B2B versions. This successful launch playbook is now utilized to assist other brands in achieving similar results.
